All I hear is gossip. Never do I hear teachers mentioning all the great things their students have accomplished during the day, it’s always “ohmigod I can’t wait to get Sammy’s parents in for a parent teacher conference and tell them what a little [expletive] they’ve been in my class.” I don’t want to hear it. I don’t want what they are saying to influence my opinions of my kids.

I accidentally swore in 4th period today. I got a round of applause from the class because they said it meant I was a real teacher. This job is awesome.
